It’s really a mystery, right?

However, good news:

You’re not alone.

Most urban Indian women are confused how they eat very little but can’t drop the kilos.

What’s going on? And what can you do about it?

SHORT ANSWER

There IS something you can do about it.

So first, to know what you can do – join our LEAN (Mini) Workout Program to discover more.

Now STEP 2: Let’s Solve The Problem At Hand
[x_icon type=”arrow-down” style=”font-size:4em;color:#46dd15″]
“Why can’t you lose weight even though you’re eating little?”

Well, usually there are only two reasons for this:
[/cs_text][x_feature_box title=”1. MOST UNLIKELY REASON:
Slow metabolism” title_color=”hsl(0, 0%, 12%)” text_color=”” graphic=”icon” graphic_size=”60px” graphic_shape=”hexagon” graphic_color=”#ffffff” graphic_bg_color=”hsl(354, 87%, 55%)” align_h=”center” align_v=”top” side_graphic_spacing=”20px” max_width=”none” graphic_icon=”thermometer-1″ class=”mbn”][/x_feature_box][cs_text class=”max700 mbm” style=”margin:0 auto;”]

Oh, you’ve surely heard of “slow metabolism”…

But get this:

It’s very rare.

The vast majority of overweight women DO NOT have a slow metabolism…

And the few women who DO have a slow metabolism – 90% of them have some underlying health issue like hypothyroidism, diabetes, Graves’ disease, etc.

Meaning – in all likelihood, you probably don’t have a slow metabolism, even if you might have been told likewise by dietitians or other sources.

But then again, what’s going on?

What’s “wrong” with you then?[/cs_text][x_feature_box title=”2. And these type of instances are the primary reason that you think you’re eating less, but not losing weight.

So first of all:

Do not blame yourself. It IS NOT your fault.

Which brings us to… an ‘angry question’…[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section bg_color=”hsl(219, 35%, 21%)” parallax=”false” separator_top_type=”none” separator_top_height=”50px” separator_top_angle_point=”50″ separator_bottom_type=”none” separator_bottom_height=”50px” separator_bottom_angle_point=”50″ style=”margin: 0px;padding: 15px 10px 20px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text class=”max700″ style=”margin:0 auto;”]

Well, it really isn’t fair, but there are two real reasons for it:

[/cs_text][x_accordion class=”max700″ style=”margin:0 auto;”][x_accordion_item title=”Misjudging & Indulgence Theatre…” open=”false”]1 It’s easy to misjudge how much other people are eating.

You may only see them for one meal where they indulge in a social setting and mistakenly believe that’s how they eat all the time.

Some slim people who appear to eat a lot, also engage in “indulgence theatre”.

Meaning it looks like they’re eating a lot, but end up not actually eating what they served (either by leaving the food, throwing it out, or passing it to someone).

And also, you may be comparing meals, and not counting snacks which you may be having but they are not.[/x_accordion_item][x_accordion_item title=”The Infamous "Set Point"” open=”false”]2 Each one of us has a “set point”, a weight range that our body attempts to achieve and maintain over time.

Some people have naturally lower set points than others, and if they begin to consistently overeat, their bodies are programmed to decrease appetite signals and prevent weight gain beyond their set point range.

And this set point is dependent on three things:

Genetics, diet and activity.

[/x_accordion_item][/x_accordion][cs_text class=”max700 mbm tleft” style=”margin:0 auto;”]

And those are the two reasons you should never compare your body with someone else’s because:

[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section bg_color=”hsl(219, 35%, 21%)” parallax=”false” separator_top_type=”none” separator_top_height=”50px” separator_top_angle_point=”50″ separator_bottom_type=”none” separator_bottom_height=”50px” separator_bottom_angle_point=”50″ style=”margin: 0px;padding: 20px 10px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text class=”max700″ style=”margin:0 auto;”]

EACH ONE OF US IS DIFFERENT

[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section bg_color=”hsl(0, 0%, 100%)” parallax=”false” separator_top_type=”none” separator_top_height=”50px” separator_top_angle_point=”50″ separator_bottom_type=”none” separator_bottom_height=”50px” separator_bottom_angle_point=”50″ style=”margin: 0px;padding: 10px 10px 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text class=”max700 mbm” style=”margin:0 auto;”]You should not compare yourself to that thin friend who can eat anything.

Your body works differently.

Your body processes food differently.

And that’s also why you shouldn’t hunt for “the best diet”.

Seriously, think about this:

How can those dietitians give the SAME diet plan to a 22yr old unmarried woman… and a 45yr old mother of two!?

It’s idiotic!

Which brings us to the final, third problem: [/cs_text][x_feature_box title=”3. MOST LIKELY REASON:
Lack of 'trivial' activity” title_color=”hsl(0, 0%, 12%)” text_color=”” graphic=”icon” graphic_size=”60px” graphic_shape=”hexagon” graphic_color=”#ffffff” graphic_bg_color=”hsl(354, 87%, 55%)” align_h=”center” align_v=”top” side_graphic_spacing=”20px” max_width=”none” graphic_icon=”user-times” class=”mtl”][/x_feature_box][cs_text class=”max700 mbm” style=”margin:0 auto;”]What do we mean by ‘trivial activity’?

Remember back in your childhood days you used to physically leave your home even for small chores like say, buying a bread…

Whereas today, we simply call up the store and get it delivered.

We used to walk everywhere. Now we have bikes.

We used to move around, hang around with friends in the real world. Now we have fake ‘social’ thingies…

We used to generally move around more.
Now there’s much more ‘comfort’.

What we’re trying to say is… all these small activities used to burn many more calories and demanded more energy from our body.

Whereas nowadays, though our activity and exercise levels have gone down, unfortunately our food intake has not, plus, the quality of foods we eat has gone to the dogs!

The dual effect is gaining more weight while trying to almost starve ourselves thin!

SO TO REMEDY THIS SITUATION FROM THE INSIDE…
We need to, for sure, improve our food intake, but more importantly at first – MOVE AROUND more![/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section bg_color=”hsl(0, 0%, 100%)” parallax=”false” separator_top_type=”none” separator_top_height=”50px” separator_top_angle_point=”50″ separator_bottom_type=”none” separator_bottom_height=”50px” separator_bottom_angle_point=”50″ style=”margin: 0px;padding: 10px 10px 15px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text class=”max700 purpleborder” style=”margin:0 auto;padding:20px;”]

The second reason why we always say BEGIN with exercise:

Isn’t nutrition, your diet, responsible for 70-80% of your weight loss success?

Yes, with no doubt (check our name!), however…

WE ALL FORGET the most important factor behind diets, workouts, or anything else we do for losing weight… our daily habits.

The ONLY true secret behind losing weight for the long term is… mastering your daily HABITS.

Anyone who has lost weight AND kept it off will tell you they owe their transformation to their habits.

And that’s why, diets are difficult, almost impossible to succeed at first because you have to make a minimum of 120 changes every month!

What? 120? Where did we get that number?

Well, 4 meals a day x 30 days = 120 changes!

Conversely, when you begin with activity, aka exercise, you just need to start working out just 3-4 days/week, and that too for just a few minutes initially.

So, with all the other issues life keeps throwing your way, which one do you see becoming more possible? Becoming a ‘HABIT’?

120 changes or just 3 every week?

You don’t need to be a math genius for that one![/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section bg_color=”hsl(219, 35%, 21%)” parallax=”false” separator_top_type=”none” separator_top_height=”50px” separator_top_angle_point=”50″ separator_bottom_type=”none” separator_bottom_height=”50px” separator_bottom_angle_point=”50″ style=”margin: 0px;padding: 20px 10px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text class=”max700″ style=”margin:0 auto;”]
