Side Plank Exercise – How To Do Side Plank

  • Get into the standard plank position.
  • Lift your left hand off the floor and twist your body towards the left. Now your body must be balanced on your right hand and right toes. Your left foot should stack over your right foot.
  • Repeat with your right side.

    • Do the Side Plank Exercise only after you have mastered the plank which will ensure you have a decently strong core.
    • If you are finding it difficult to support yourself on just one hand, you can use your forearm against the floor instead of just palms.
    • Make sure that your neck, shoulders, back, knees and feet align in a straight line at all times during this exercise.
